AAUW Campus Connections for State and Branch College and University Representatives

Campus Connections is a quarterly newsletter filled with leadership opportunities, updates, and resources for you and your students. You are receiving this newsletter because you are a C/U representative for your institution’s AAUW membership.

Make a New Year’s resolution to inspire the next generation of women leaders. Take a peek at our newest research regarding student debt, see how we’re protecting women in the workforce, and learn about how you can shine as a C/U rep!

No matter if you’re planning an event for one of the equal pay daysprotecting Title IX, or recruiting students for AAUW’s National Conference for College Women Student Leaders (NCCWSL), AAUW is here to help you and your students this spring.

A Bit of AAUW Herstory

From the early 20th century through the 1960s, AAUW individually accredited colleges and universities based on gender equity criteria. Each school was required to pass a seven-question accreditation test before its graduates could become AAUW members.

Now it’s your turn: Would your college pass AAUW’s 1914 accreditation test?
